Priorities

Give to the local Maui community through volunteer hours and meaningful financial contributions, especially organizations that are challenged to raised funds. Our focus includes:

  • Cultural and Historical Projects

  • Broadening the impact of the foundation and trust by working with resort management to extend their efforts​​

Ongoing Commitment to the Community

  • In 2024, the Foundation donated $145,000 to local Maui community-based nonprofit organizations, and the Charitable Trust donated $25,000 to support scholarships for students and victims of domestic violence. 
  • In 2023, the Trust donated $336,000 to support communities across Maui. In addition, the Foundation donated more than $200,000 to support Maui Wildfire victims and recovery efforts.
  • In 2022, the Trust donated to 25 Maui community-based organizations, totaling $320,000. 
  • In 2021, the Trust contributed approximately  $266,000 to Maui charities. 
  • In 2020, the Trust contributed $132,500 to local nonprofit organizations.
