Check Delivery to Pacific Whale Foundation

Trustees and Ryan Nobriga, on behalf of the Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Foundation, delivered a $15,000 check to Pacific Whale Foundation. The PWF is a non-governmental organization founded in 1980 and based in Maui, Hawaiʻi that conducts whale research and educates the public in effort to save vulnerable species of whales from extinction. Their mission is to protect the ocean through science and advocacy, and to inspire environmental stewardship. They are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and their work is funded through fundraising activities, memberships and donations from supporters worldwide.
